The Story. In the land of Far, Far, Away there lived the Evil Lord Farquaad who banishes all of the fairytale creatures to a far away swamp. This swamp belonged to the “terrifying” green Ogre, Shrek. His precious solitude was suddenly shattered by the invasion of the fairytale creatures. Shrek determined to save his home he cuts a deal with Lord Farquaad and sets out to rescue Princess Fiona so that she can become Farquaads bride.
