Grosh Backdrops offers our Egyptian Interior for your performance of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Joseph is a musical comedy by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber which is based on the Bible Story from Genesis of Joseph. The first act is about Joseph’s father, Jacob, who favored Joseph over all of his other brothers giving Joseph a multi-colored coat. Joseph was thrilled about his gift but his 12 brothers were very jealous. The brother’s jealousy is also compounded by Joseph’s dreams which lead the brothers to feel he will rule over them and Egypt. Due to the brothers jealousy many things happen to Joseph to not only change his life but also the kingdom of Egypt.

Our scenic backdrop appears to be an ancien wall in Egypt. It appears to be made out of a brown sandstone. In the center you see two gold Egyptian gods. Surrounding the Egyptian gods is colorful designs and artwork. Above the gods is also a colorful piect of artwork in red, blue and gold.
