Grosh scenic artists bring talent, passion, and creativity to our studio every day. Their diverse backgrounds and extensive experience ensure our clients always receive the most excellent craftsmanship to enhance and marvelously impact their shows, events, and venues anywhere in the world. Some digitally printed, most fabulously hand-painted, and all made in America.
Who are our great painters? Only the finest in the business. Our scenic experience spans theatre, motion picture, amusement parks, museums, as well as various types of murals and permanent installations and more. We are proud to say that our artists have had their personal art work shown in galleries, art shows, and yes, even a few museums. Some of our talented bunch are new to the field and others have decades of experience as scenic artists. We have artists from the big city of New York to a small Midwestern town; from the self-taught artist to an Ivy League graduate. We can even boast a Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University!
Clients regularly tap the genius of our Creative Director but can also speak directly to any of our artists. We enjoy and encourage it! And of course, you are welcome to visit for a tour or creative dialogue any time.
We are proud of our team and believe they are the creative heart of what makes Grosh “The World’s Greatest” Backdrop Company!

With full accountability for every aspect of the final creation, Greg manages teams of artists as they paint to the exact specifications of our clients without losing sight of his “art”. By encouraging individuality and “one of a kind” spirit within his team, Greg develops a style only a hand painted creation can offer. Greg has a knack for visualizing clients’ ideas and patiently working with them until a draft design is agreed upon and an artistic project is set into motion. You can feel Greg’s passion for excellence and creativity in his art and in the repeat engagements of Grosh’s numerous loyal customers.
